This is the fairly basic white style. It uses two user defined links-your choice of name and URL's, has a comment below the slide (also shows as a tooltip on the index thumb) and above the slide, uses a Jalbum title for the image. You can select file name or title or both. There is an "extra" icon to the right of the directional gifs (previous/next). This indicates this image has an original available for download. If you have 45 photos, but only a few are really, really worth needing the original, why upload all 45? In Jalbum's edit window (with the thumbs), simply right click and select "include original." Only those that you so identify will have the original included with the finished album.

Created by Jim Berry, one can enter text description via the Jalbum edit window in a special Notes tab in th elower right of the screen. This information is included with the exif detail and visible when a visitor clicks on the camera icon (just below the slide) as shown on this thumbnail.

The WIDGET album. Widgets are not native to HTML frame based skins like Vertical Slide. But with some minor coding changes in a skin like Minimal, they can be utilized. This skin also uses TomCee's great SimpleXBF add-in (it's free) which greatly simplifies shadows, borders and frames as seen here. Specific details for all in the skin's about.txt file.

This sample has some more legitimate artwork thanks to Jim's photographic talents. It also shows folders work well in Vertical Slide even several layers deep. You can of course, also substitute a thumb for the folder icon (make sure to give the folder thumb a descriptive title so viewers know it is a folder). This is a sample, otherwise the slide would be larger and the thumbs smaller-that should make the album look a bit nicer.
